The other day while I was running, I couldn't help noticing some nagging pain in my left knee. I thought to myself, 'Maybe I have runner's knee' which is someting that I had heard of but didn't know much about. So I went home and googled it- this is what came up:
One of the most common injuries among runners, runner's knee most often strikes as runners approach forty miles per week for the first time.
Okay...I definitely don't have runner's knee, I just need to stretch more before I start. I should be so lucky to have such a trendy physical ailment.

40 miles a week?! Wow, that's a goal to shoot for...or not.
I've had problems with my knee before; I have a small elastic brace that fits under the kneecap if you'd like it.
If you wear such a knee brace, I bet people would think you were really cool/athletic.
:)
Remember....it's VERY important to warm up (fast walking) for 5 minutes before and cool down and stretch after. It' makes a huge difference.
I have a great book you should read. I'm almost done with it. I'll bring it to you when I finish.
LOL. You are funny!
Kristen, you crack me up! I'm excited to hear about your progress towards your half marathon!
